If you've decided to permanently close your Spotify account, here are the steps to follow and important points to note.
Things to Do Before Closing Account
- Back up your important playlists
- Cancel your subscription if you have one
- Download your account data
- Remove connected apps
Account Closing Steps
- Go to the Spotify app
- Click on Account from settings
- Click the "Click here to close your account and permanently delete your data" button
- Click the "Close my account and delete my data" button in the opened tab
- Click and confirm the confirmation email sent to your email address
Important Warnings
- Account closing process cannot be undone
- All your playlists and music library will be deleted
- If you have a Premium membership, it must be canceled first
- Your email address cannot be used for another account
