Do you want to keep your listening habits private on Spotify? Here are ways to hide recently played artists and your listening history.

Use Private Session

  1. Open the Spotify app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Find privacy and social settings
  4. Activate private session option
  5. Your listening history will not be recorded

Hide Recently Played Artists

  1. Open the Spotify app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Find privacy and social settings
  4. Turn off recently played artists option
  5. Recently played artists will not appear on your profile

Hide Listening Activity

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find privacy and social settings
  3. Turn off "Listening activity" option

Tip

When you use the private session feature, artists you listen to in that session will not be added to your "Recently Played" list and will not affect your listening history.
